Through this privacy statement, Stadskantoor Eindhoven C.V. (hereinafter: SUCCEED) informs you about the processing of your personal data in the context of using our website, www.succeed-offices.nl. This statement explains how SUCCEED, as the data controller, processes and secures your personal data. SUCCEED will always process personal data in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations on data protection, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your personal data
SUCCEED processes your personal data only for the purposes described in this privacy statement or purposes compatible with them. Your personal data will not be retained longer than necessary for these purposes, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.
Restricted data room environment
If you are interested in a specific investment object listed on our website, you may, upon request, gain access to a restricted data room environment on our website. In this environment you will find the investment objects in which you are involved. Login credentials will be sent to you by email. To provide you with a personal account, we will record your gender, first name, and last name. Once this involvement ends, or as soon as you request your account to be closed, your personal data and account will be deleted. You are not required to provide personal data for this purpose, but without it we cannot grant access to the data room.
Job applications
Our website contains an overview of current job vacancies. If there is no suitable vacancy, but you are interested in a position within our organization, you may also send us an open application by email or letter. We request that you provide your CV and motivation. In this, we ask for your name, gender, date of birth, and phone number and/or email address (possibly already included in your CV). We also need details of your education and/or courses completed, and of your previous (or current) employment. Based on this data, we will assess whether you may be suitable for the vacancy. Any additional data you choose to provide is optional.
For certain positions, we may conduct screenings, for example by reviewing publicly available social media profiles. The personal data obtained during the selection process will not be shared with third parties. These personal data will be deleted no later than four weeks after the selection process has ended, unless you have given consent to keep the data longer (for up to one year) so we can contact you should a suitable position become available.
Cookies
Cookies are small files sent from a website to the user’s web browser. Our website uses cookies from the Google Analytics service to measure and analyze the effectiveness and quality of our website. These cookies have little to no impact on your privacy, as they are set up in a privacy-friendly way. For example, we have signed a processing agreement with Google outlining the processing purposes, we anonymize the last part of your IP address, and we do not share the obtained data with Google for other services.
You can delete or block all cookies yourself. Please refer to your browser’s manual for instructions. Note, however, that our website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
Control over your personal data
To give you control over your personal data, you may request SUCCEED to provide access to, rectify, or delete your personal data, or to restrict processing. You also have the right to object to a specific processing activity, and to request data portability. SUCCEED is entitled to refuse such requests in certain cases.
If processing is based solely on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. We will then stop the specific processing immediately.
We will inform you within one month of receiving your request about the outcome. This period may be extended by up to two months, depending on the number and complexity of requests. If we extend the period, we will notify you within one month. If we deny your request, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) and to appeal to the court.
Data security
SUCCEED takes appropriate security measures to ensure your personal data is protected against unauthorized access and unlawful processing. For example, we use an HTTPS connection (SSL certificate) to encrypt any data transmitted via our website.
Sharing of personal data
SUCCEED will not share your personal data collected through this website with other parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of an agreement, legally required, you have provided consent, or we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
Other provisions
We may update this privacy statement from time to time. We therefore recommend consulting the website regularly to read the most recent version. We will always process your personal data in accordance with the policy in effect at the time of collection.
